Saffron Drink for Ramadan

Known for its distinct aroma, flavour, and vibrant yellow colour, Saffron threads are handpicked, which makes it one of the most expensive flavour in the world. It adds a rich and subtle hint to dishes, and is commonly used in stews, soups, and desserts. Saffron is also used to flavour tea and other beverages. One such recipe of Saffron Milk Drink is Ingratiated as:

2 cups of milk

1/4 cup of Hands of Gold’s Raw Forest Honey

1/2 teaspoon of Hands of Gold saffron threads

1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom

1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

1/4 cup of chopped nuts

Ice cubes.

Instructions for the recipe are:

In a small bowl, add 2 tablespoons of hot water to the saffron threads and let it steep for 10-15 minutes. In a medium saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling. Add honey, saffron water, cardamom, and cinnamon to the milk. Stir well until the honey is dissolved and the milk is flavoured with all the ingredients. Remove the milk from heat and let it cool to room temperature. Pour the saffron milk into a blender and add ice cubes. Blend until smooth and frothy. Pour the saffron milk into glasses, garnish with chopped nuts, and serve chilled.
